Café

The New Parkway Theater offers many of the movie theater basics that you’d expect such as popcorn, soda, and candy, but also a full menu of diner-style comfort food for you to enjoy either in our cafe or while watching a movie. We feature burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads, and a wide array of appetizers and desserts, all made in our commercial kitchen. We also have twelve rotating taps with local wine, beer, and cider.
Our food and drink philosophy is to offer enough choices for every patron, but not too many that it becomes overwhelming or the quality suffers. We also always offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options on the daily menu, though not everything served will be suitable for everyone’s dietary restrictions. For political, environmental, and health reasons, we do not serve food that contains high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, or any palm oil products, and most of our foods are prepared entirely in our own commercial kitchen.
Our menu changes every three months or so, and you can find our current menu here. Menu prices do not include tax or our 5% health insurance surcharge, but do include a gratuity to support a living wage.
Our cafe hours are generally the following (but if we’re showing movies earlier, the cafe will be open):

  • Monday-Wednesday: 6:00-10:00pm
  • Thursday: 3:30-10:00pm
  • Friday: 3:30-11:00pm
  • Saturday: Noon-11:00pm
  • Sunday: Noon-10:00pm

As a general rule, we open our doors 30 minutes before the first show and lock our doors 30 minutes after the last screening starts (some exceptions apply). The kitchen closes 30 minutes after the last show starts.  Concession sales, including wine and beer, remains open for one hour after the start of the last show.
We also have a variety of beers, wines, cider, and cocktails on tap!
